Illinois State University Compliance Program
The University Compliance Program was established to cultivate compliance awareness at the University and encourage the University community to conduct business with the highest standards of honesty and integrity. The University Compliance Program provides easy access to University compliance resources and supports University community members who provide compliance expertise, resources, policies and procedures and training.
About the Compliance Program
As a public university, Illinois State University operates in a complex compliance environment. Numerous laws, regulations, and other standards govern the University's activities and compliance is an integral part of University operations. Members of the University community assume responsibility for conducting University operations within the law and serve as compliance “experts” in many different areas.
To assist University community members, the University has embarked on a process to develop the University Compliance Program to coordinate, monitor and, when appropriate, improve, our ability to meet compliance responsibilities. The Compliance Program will promote compliance awareness at the University and encourage members of the University community to conduct University business with the highest standards of honesty and integrity.

Goals
The ISU Compliance Program is charged with promoting and supporting a culture at the University which cultivates compliance awareness into the daily activities of the University and encourages all members of the University community to conduct University business with the highest standards of honesty and integrity.

Program goals include:
- Improving the University's coordination, dissemination, and communication of compliance information, and identify gaps in compliance;
- Assisting the University community with compliance related processes, identifying emerging compliance trends, providing compliance support activities, and coordinating and managing compliance risks;
- Promoting compliance awareness by assisting in the development and delivery of compliance related training;
- Providing means for the community to obtain compliance assistance and report concerns related to compliance;
